Shared accounts are exactly what they sound like, they are shared between many different customers.

The reason we use shared accounts, is if you use case does not require you to have a dedicated account. i.e. you just need to do FX transfers.

We offer shared accounts in many different currencies. They operate just like a multi currency wallet, except they are not in your name, they are in our name or our regulated MSB partners name, and they do not have unique funding instructions. Instead of a unique account number, you will be given a unique reference code that you will apply to each and every funding transfer in, that lets us know where to allocate the funds and separate between customers.

Shared accounts are powerful, but in todays fast changing customer expectations, we typically do not use these as a first option.
